Читаю вторую часть автобиографии Стивена Морриса, снова ржу до слёз. Часть про Бернарда и лайв ВВС в 1984 году восхитительна.
Bernard, already in a mood from the drive and the extremely harsh lighting of the studio, erupted.
'We spent all that fucking time for fucking nothing. Well, what we going to fucking play now then? Fucking shit.'
The floor manager called 'Ten minutes!'
'Fucking bastard shit. Fucking cunt.'

'Whose fucking idea was this?' Throughout the short performance Bernard became increasingly incandescent.

It was both fantastic and hideous. Watching it back, it is gloriously chaotic. The TV viewers must have looked on in horror, gripped as the spectacle unfolded. There is no other word. It was spectacular!

Бернард, конечно, уникальное явление. Как можно быть одновременно настолько ужасным в чём-либо, но при этом гениальным, я до сих пор не понимаю. Но очень, очень его люблю, даже зная столько историй про его характер и всяческие выходки. Ничего не могу с собой поделать!
